Moon rising over the Ocean
I frequently paint on this beach in Stone Harbor, NJ. Painting on location brings a raw element of immediacy to the process. I attempt to paint with the same sense of urgency when in the studio. This painting was completed in-house based on an inspired photograph by photographer and friend Michael Zuccato. His photography is available on his facebook page MichaelZPhotography.
