Painting on location and fun surprises!
Driving around Austin, TX I found I couldn't get this bridge off my mind. I had to paint it. The structure of the bridge abstracted with the greens in the landscaping growing around it was exciting to me. The geometric shapes of the architecture cutting through the softer curves of the forests moved me. A family nearby took interest in my painting and observing the process. They talked with me about my art. The lake was so refreshing in the 98 degree weather. I loved being able to cool off and continue painting. Skiiers and Jet Skis passed by, putting on a show. This city keeps surprising me with its beauty and adventures!
